Material from my presentation on Classification

This last Saturday, I gave a presentation on classification, starting with a basic linear classifier and building it up to k-class, n-dimensional classification. I've been asked for the material I used, so here are the links:

David Owen's Classification presentation

You will need to download the Samsung data. The original data is from Davide Anguita, Alessandro Ghio, Luca Oneto, Xavier Parra and Jorge L. Reyes-Ortiz at smartlab.ws, and also kindly indexed and hosted by the University of California, Irving.

An R-loadable version of the motion data is available from Dropbox; this is the file that I used in my presentation.

I might turn this into something a bit more packaged later, in case you didn't get to see the presentation.
